Fire Division

Since 1957, Eastern Pines Fire Department has been dedicated to serving the community of Eastern Pines and surrounding areas, in Pitt County, North Carolina. We currently protect a population of approximately 10,000 residents, and respond to an average of 200 incidents, per year, in our fire district.

Founded in 1982 as Eastern Pines Rescue Squad, the EMS division of Eastern Pines Fire-Rescue-EMS Inc. has served with distinction and honor ever since. Located just east of Greenville, NC, approximately 30 volunteers and 8 part-time paid staff proudly provide the nearly 19,000 citizens of eastern Pitt County with continuous Paramedic level Emergency Medical Service 24 hours a day.
